i guess this topic is pretty hot in SD at the moment.
Needless to say, many people have asked that this young
woman change her talent routine, but of course she is
claiming to "honor" tribal people and refuses to do so.

In addition, she never claimed to be a mixed-blood until she
arrived in Atlanta.

Although these sorts of "contests" IMHO put forth some of
the worst aspects of mainstream America, i would at least
hope the contents would refrain from such offensive slaps at
any part of our communities. i guess that asks too much.
