I have heard from them and also did contribute a small sum last year,
and they have been good at keeping me informed on where their money has been
going. I must admit though that I do not know them personally, as I have not
visited them in that part of the country. I want to add that normally, I
research into the organizations that I give my piddly $10 to $25 annually,
and make a point of visiting them during my travels, like I have done to
NARF, Oxfam, AFSC and UUSC and others in international development. Sorry
that I cannot confirm your worst fears.
