CITIZENS' DIALOGUE:
BIODIVERSITY, BIOTECHNOLOGY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Monday, September 19, 1994 8:30 - 4:00
Fort Mason Center, Building A, Room A-2, San Francisco

New developments in patent law, biotechnology,
bio-prospecting, information, and communications will
profoundly influence human rights, the environment, the
labor movement, the quality of the food we eat, the balance
of power between cultures and corporations, and the survival
of indigenous people. A group of experts from throughout
North America will examine the consequences of these
developments in the context of international free trade and
the growing privatization of information by transnational
corporations.

The Citizens' Dialogue is free. Box lunches are available
for $10.00 or bring your own.
