Perhaps a part of the protest could be an alternative...especially since
there is nothing "historical" about this "simulation."
What if the dominant-culture kids were given an opportunity to ask First
Nations people what their lives are really like? The kids could get up a
list of questions, they could be posted and whoever wanted to respond
could have the opportunity to teach these kids a REAL lesson.
Perhaps that would help shake the stereotypes...
