Anthropology museums

I am trying to locate a reference to find good museums in the United
States that might touch on the folklore of indigenous peoples. I am
working on a book of world folklore and want to add information at
the back that points laypeople to museums around the country that will
expand their knowledge of folklore in this country. Can anyone provide
me with suggestions for either a reference source, or more specifically,
recommended museums that they personally know? I would be extremely
grateful for anyone's help. Thank you in advance.
