The InterTribal Bison cooperative, headquartered in
Rapid City, SD (telephone 605-394-9730) was founded
to reintroduce bison ranching on Indian Reservations.
The two principals are Fred DuBray and Mark Heckert.
They have an extensive operation on the Cheyenne
River River Reservation (home of the Ducheneaux families).
