I am not Wampanoag.....just 3rd generation full blooded Italian...but
I live in RI and would suggest you contact the Center for Native American
Awareness in MA. Slow Turtle is the supreme medecine man of the Wampanoag
and is rather accessable for someone in his position. I think it is in
Canton MA but if you need more info then contact me through private e-mail.
I don't have the exact address or phone number with me right now...I think
I've got it in my office...I can check if you need me to.

unsolicited advise.....be patient. As Slow Turtle's daughter-in-law said
to my class..."if you ask an Indian a question and don't receive an immediate
answer....wait....it will come in time...according to the Grandfather's wishes.
