Wolves need a name

A fellow zoo docent has asked me to suggest some names that might be
appropriate for the three young Timber wolves that came to us from Wolf Hollow
in Ipswich, Mass. a few months ago. He and his wife were responsible for
raising them from their fourth week until they could come to live at the zoo
at about two months (as I recall). For that reason, he has asked the director
of the zoo if he might be given the privilege of naming them. He wants very
much to give them names that would be appropriate and that would indicate
their long history in this land. If you are willing to forward suggestions, it
would be very kind. I gave him a list of about 12 ideas in Ojibwe but he
thought all but one of the names were too difficult for the public to
pronounce. He saw me flinch when he suggested shortening the names or using
derivitives: he thought that instead of Migizide (large paw) that Maggie (!)
might be better. I asked him to wait until I could get back with him. I am
hoping that perhaps between us all, we can come up with 3 appropriate names
(they don't have to be in the same language) for the wolves. There are 2
females and one large male. So far all are jet black though the mother was
more "typically" colored. Hopefully from a list of suggestions we can find 3
names that would suit them. I am not a linguist so please type the
pronunciations after any names forwarded. A thousand thanks for any help you
can offer!
