Last week, the whole class came to my agency (Housing &
Urban Development) for a Native American Recognition
program. Thirteen young artists from all over the US were
honored for having their artwork selected for HUD's 1995
American Indian Heritage Calendar.
We would very much like to hear directly from members of the
Shoshone and other tribes about customs, concerns, ways of
building better communication among people, etc. Every
response will be appreciated and will be acknowledged.
If possible, it would be exciting to hear from
Shoshoni elementary school children. I will relay the
messages to Esther and will relay her responses to you.
