The University of Oklahoma sponsors several learning opportunities
related to Native American topics in Santa Fe each August. They range
from studying art, cuisine, photography, Native religion to library
and information services to American Indians. Costs include tuition,

One example of a course is: LIBRARY INFORMATION SERVICES TO AMERICAN
INDIANDS: GETTING READY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY. Participants will
visit several Pueblo libraries where Pueblo librarians/
administrators will address unique problems and issues facing tribal
librarians. National and state library library leaders will present
possible scenarios for future development of tribal libraries. The
non-credit course includes one performance of Mozarts "Le Nozze Di
Figaro" at the world famous Santa Fe Opera. Fee for the course is
$495. Dates are August 2-7, 1995.
