History: American Indian Historian. The history department of
Northern Arizona University seeks to fill a position for an
American Indian History specialist at the rank of associate or
assistant (tenure-track) professor. A Ph.D. in American
History is required, as is a strong teaching and publication
record, ability to teach American Indian history courses at
the undergraduate and graduate levels, ability to teach U.S.
surveys, and American West and/or Southwest. Salary dependent
upon qualifications. The search will continue until the
position is filled; however, the Screening Committee will
