Hello to everyone.
I am in search of information about my mothers family. My
mother was adopted when she was very young. She knew her mother, but her
father was killed before she was born. Her father was a Cherokee indian
by the name of William Wilkins. According to my mother this was not his
real name. My mother's name is Wylola. Can anyone tell me if this is a
native american name? Are there any tribes that have used the name of
Wilkins. Please excuse my questions, I am just at a loss only trying to
