Hi,

I am one who works in the area of Aboriginal or Native Title in Australia.

My query relates to the US Freedom of information legislation. I have a
reference to a successful FOI request to obtain the documents arising out
of failed negotiations between the US Government and a New York Indian
tribe. This was back in 1981 (or perhaps late 1980). I have not been
able to track this down. I saw the reference in an index to the Legal
Times of Washington.

Anyone remember this? Anyone know anything about it?

Thanks very much.

Daniel Mah.
