One of my son's girlfriends gave me the same tape for Christmas. If you'll
look in the inside liner notes (or maybe you didn't get them so I'll copy...)

Kashtin are from the Innu tribe in Northeast Quebec, and sing in their native
tongue which is spoken by only about ten thousand people. When we wre
recording this song, florent started doing a tribal dance, and the sound of
his feet moving made me think that we should put this on tape. Then Claude
joined in with wat he called a "rez broom". When I asked Florent about the
words in this song, he said it means. Take care, Take care of your homeplace.
Take care of yur grandmother, Take care of your self.
I live in Hawaii and it's interesting that the word Akua here means great
spirit or god....
