I used to live in Colorado, and I know a couple people from
Crow Canyon Archaeological Center. It is a private
organization, and yes, they do have a field school. I don't
know about the cost, but they have a very good reputation
for archaeology (and some good people working there).

Bruce Bradley is one of the archaeologists working there. I
don't know whether or not he is running the field school
now, but he would know.
