On Thursday, April 13, 1995, East Tennessee State University's
Presidential Distinguished Lecture Series will host Chief Wilma
Mankiller. Her free public lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. in
the university's D.P. Culp Center Auditorium in Johnson City,
Tennessee. Chief Mankiller's tentative topic is "Contemporary Tribal
Issues." The lecture is cosponsored by ETSU's Center for Appalachian
Studies and Services. Following the lecture program, a public
reception in Chief Mankiller's honor will be held at ETSU's Carroll
Reece Museum. Anyone on the list who wishes directions to the campus
