Draft Declaration on Indigenous People

The U.S. State Department has stated that the U.S. will only support the
Draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in so far as it
corresponds to U.S. Federal law... the Declaration will be a topic at the
U.N. Commission on Human Rights Session in Geneva, Switzerland which begins
Monday Jan/ 30/ 1995 The International Indian Treaty Council has called for
