On February 3rd a report was issued stating that Congress had voted
in favour of developing the oil and gas reserves in the "1002" lands
of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. I was wondering if anyone
who knows more about the current status of this issue and the
Gwich'in opposition (among others), could elaborate on what is
happening.
