I am currently doing research for a National Aboriginal Tourism Information
Network server that will provide comprehensive information online to both
commercial tourism operators and Aboriginal owner/operators of Canadian-
based tourism-related businesses. The network will offer information
relating to products & services currently available, Aboriginal profiles,
employer/employee training programs, employment opportunities, and project-
specific funding programs (among many others). It is expected that the
system will be able to offer online reservations and bookings as well.

I'm looking for information sources from the Canadian Aboriginal community
relating to regional and national events, such as Aboriginal education &
business conferences, workshops, and symposiums as well as festivals and
powwows. This project will benefit all participants whose events are
included in the searchable databases. Possible info sources might include
Aboriginal newspapers, 1-800 services (there are rumoured to be a few), and
perhaps national or regional organizations (either political, educational or
commercial).

I'm also looking for events listings/information sources that exist online,
if you know of listservs, conferences, Aboriginal BBS's or echomail networks
that appear to be good sources of Aboriginal events.

If anyone knows of information sources for these types of events, please
notify me as soon as possible.

Nia:wen kowa (thank-you very much),

Glenn Morrison
