I believe it's held in trust by the U.S. The descendents of the orig.
allottees have the right of occupancy and use. The U.S. is the ultimate
owner & if they wanted to be mean about it could exercise their plenary
power to take it back for their own use at any time through various
mechanisms, although let's hope they don't want to be rude about how
Congress treats your family. -
