While such blanket ethnocultural imperialism does exist, there are still
a lot of Native folk who are totally unaffected by such "bounty."
Rather, I find there are plenty of folk who still have to struggle along
as best they can, even in states that are supposed to grant tuition
waivers as a part of their responsibilities. It seems that the oppressed
and the oppressor are still very much in evidence, but such petty
envy/greed by legislators gives voters plenty a room to resent such
elected persons. If they will do it to one, they will do it to anyone.
