This was given to me by a friend who asked me to pass this on. You may
reply to the snail mail address given below or to me directly and I'll pass
it on to him.

The time is come to gather the Tonkawa People of Texas into a sovereign
nation. There are several thousand mixed blood Tonkawa living in the
Tonkawa homeland area of central Texas. We need to come out of hiding,
become organized, have donated or buy some land for a reservation, and
gain federal recognition with full rights and benefits.
The Tonkawa people were never very numerous and after the Anadarko
masacre, there were even less to form a gene pool, so it was obvious that
all suviving Tonkawa are very mixed with at most a quarter Tonkawa blood.
Therefore a blood quantum amount is not necessary or needed especially
since blood quantum is a white man's concept and is used to divide and
control Native Americans. Also, with Texas' historical policy of "move them
or kill them," and "only assimilated mixed bloods allowed," the records
are very spase and confusing with many Texan families claiming "black
dutch" heritage, keeping very quier about actually being Tonkawa, Karankawa,
Lipon Apache, Comanche, Waco, Kiowa, Caddo, Coushatta, Coahuiltec, Zapotec,
Aztec, Shawnee, Choctaw, Cherokee and others. Therfore, very sparse records
and family "secret" word of mouth, along with a check out by our seer who
is Native American but not Tonkawa, will be acceptable for admittance.
Please tell all of your friends that you think might be Tonkawa so that
they can respond. Please make copies of this and put it on buletin boards
and further spread the word.
