Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a tentative march/protest
scheduled in front of the State Capitol in Sacramento in support of the
proposed bill against "minority" cultural exploitation by the alcohol
industry- thus banning the product (Crazy Horse Malt Liquor) within
California.

The tentative date is March 13, but if that changes I will post it here.
We are much in need of people to sponsor (pay for) phone conferences,
flier reproduction, transportation on the event day, community organizing
and we need a stage and PA system (some) for the speakers and musicians.
We could also use some help in the area of media contact. We will also
be in need of people for set up and clean up.

Anyone interested in any of the above contact me through e-mail, or call
the Center for American Indian Research and Education at 510-843-8661 and
ask for me or Shirlee James. We hope to have as many people there as
possible so that the message is obvious to the legislators that the
behaviour on the part of the alcohol industry is inappropriate.
