I am apologizing to those of you who have multiple subscriptions and may
get this request more than one time. It is important for me to get
input from as many people as possible. I am in desparate need of help from tho
se members of Native-l who have access to degree requirements for accredited
degrees in Native American Studies or similarly inclusive programs for a
B.A. or Master degree level. I am a sophomore at Cleveland State University
trying to design a PDM or Personally Designed Major. I do not want to design m
y major in a haphazard fashion. I want it to be one that could theoretically
transfer if I can not get permission to master at CSU in a PDM program.
My highest anticipation would be that I could have course descriptions, reading
lists, course requirements, syllibi, etc. for both bachelor and master program
s already in place.
I am a Cherokee in my 40's who is stuck in Cleveland for better or worse. I ca
n not return home to Oklahoma at this time. I want to study what is important
to me while I am in Urban Indian Land. <aybe make a difference in people's per
ceptions, tell some truths to the next seven generations (I have three generati
ons in my own home), walk the edge of the envelope, and all that cool stuff!
You can send it to me by snail-mail at Candi Cruz-3139 W. 40th St. #1,

or reply privately at my e-mail address: E3529@vmcms.csuohio.edu.
Wado! for your anticipated help.
