I haven't posted in awhile, but I am in need of any info at all on Chief
Crazy Bear of the Teton Lakota. All I know is that he was "on the tribal
council who elected Crazy Horse a chief." Any info at all would be
helpful: what was he like? what was his history? was he known for
doing something in particular?
I am a mixed-blood gal myself, not of Lakota heritage. I am looking for
the information to demonstrate to my students that although texts may say
that "not much is known" about someone, it generally depends on who
you ask. But to do that, it would help if I could actually find out
something about him!
