Hello, My name is Daryl and I am a student at the University of
Montana. I am finishing my undergraduate degree in Wildlife Biology and
am currently preparing for a graduate project for this coming winter.
The project will be geared towards Tribal Wildlife Management. The
project would augment a recent report on tribal forestry programs.
Specifically, we want to learn two things: the extent to which tribes
administer their own wildlife management programs, and the degree to
which tribal cultures influence how wildlife conservation is
administered. We plan to initially conduct the research through
interviews and analysis of tribal documents. What I am in need of at
this point is key contact people who would be willing to review the
proposal. These should be individuals who are currently involved in
tribal resource issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You may
