'On behalf of my mother and myself, the response we got was
overwhelming, and we would love to accept all the kind and generous
invitations. We have yet to work out how we are going to travel to
these different locations, so perhaps there is someone out there who
would be able to advise us on which buses etc for us to catch, and of
any cheap accomodation that we could book into for a couple of days.
We originally said that we would like to meet the Navajo peoples,
because they are situated relatively close to Los Angeles. However,
because of such a beautiful response we received, my mother and
myself are prepared to somehow travel all over the States with hope
of being able to meet both native Americans and African Americans and
learn about their cultural heritage.
Once again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making all
of this possible for us.
