Escritores en Lenguas Indigenas, A.C. (Indian-language Writers Association)
of Mexico is planning the following events for 1995 and 1996. Anyone desir-
ing further information is invited to contact the persons listed below.
(Please note that the lingua franca of these activities will be Spanish.)

During 1995:

Regional symposia for Indian-language writers:
Encuentros Regionales de Escritores en Lenguas Indigenas:
Southeastern region (in the state of Tabasco)
Oaxaca & Guerrero regions (in the state of Oaxaca)
Central region (in the state of Puebla)
Northern region (in the state of Sonora)
(Dates and places will be decided on shortly.)

Mid-1996:
First National Indian-Language Arts and Literature Festival
I Festival Nacional de Arte y Literatura en Lenguas Indigenas

July 1996:
Fifth National Indian-Language Writers Symposium
V Encuentro Nacional de Escritores en Lenguas Indigenas
