I've checked all my books but can't seem to locate any that are
relevant - they must be on loan and I forgot who has them.
However, you should check out several books. I believe Laurance
Hauptman has a couple by the Syracuse University Press - quite good as
I remember. Also, the is a book called "Being Oneida" (don't quote me
on the title) with several articles about Oneidas and at least one on
the land claims. If all else fails, contact Rosalyn M.J. Elm at the
Onyonta:ka Administration office in Southwold, Ontario, N0L 2G0 or
phone at (519)652-3244. Roz is the landclaims researcher there and
she may be able to offer some titles etc. for you.
Sorry I took so long but I recently moved and have not unpacked all of
my boxes. Chances are, the books I refer to are in one of those that
I did not check. Bad labling?
