PBS SERIES "WAY WEST"

The newest NEWSWEEK (5-8-95) contains an article on a PBS series
scheduled for May 8-9. "The Way West" is described as a "masterly piece
of nonfiction, less a documentary than a tragedy in four 90-minute
acts." It further states that the documentary "is long, but deeply
involving." The series starts with the first wagon train and ends at
Wounded Knee.
