This just came in from my mail forwarding from Maryland, it is a
bit late but here it is anyway, sounds worthwhile for youth leaders.

Sat. & Sun. May 6-7, 1995 the American Indian Community House (AICH)
in New York, will host the first Native Youth Leadership Summit on HIV
in the Northeast. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton University
Hotel and Conference Center in Syracuse, NY. The summit will focus on
the development of Native Youth Leadership recommendations for
effective HIV education and prevention. It is limited to 20 Native
youth from across the Northeast. Community members participating are:
Steve Elm (Oneida), Director - AICH Youth Theatre Project
Hortensia Colorado (Chicimec) - Actress, Invited
Irene Bedard (Inupiaq/Cree) - Actress, Invited
Gordon Ison (Lumbee) - Actor
Marta Carlson (Yurok) - Video Producer, Invited.
Participants will work on the production of 2 Public Service
Announcements (PSA's), will learn acting techniques and video
production.
