I sent out a posting a while ago concerning the cancellation, but wish
to remind everyone so no one makes an unnecesarry trip. We are very sorry
for the disappointment and wish to thank those who still support our
raffle with items and ticket sales.

Announcement:
University of Washington Pow-Wow cancelled!
Reason:
Efforts were made to raise a newly required $15000 deposit to have this
years' Pow-wow. That deposit was to have been raised within a short time
and maximum efforts were put into achieving this amount by the committee
members and non-native volunteers, however, they were unsuccessful.
Recognition:
The First Nations pow-wow committee wishes to acknowledge those of you
who have contributed and worked toward the success and final outcome of
the U.W.POW-WOW.
Appologies:
We the First Nations pow-wow committee at the University of Washington
would like to appologize to all of you who have planned in advance and
over other events that occur at the May 19&20 1995 Date to attend the
U.W.POW-WOW this year.
Remember:
Next years UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON POW-WOW is already in the works and
hopefully with yours and gods help we will be able to have this pow-wow.
The University has in the past few years created obsticles, and as full
time students, these obsticles become trememdous undertakings.
Reminder:
We the Students at the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON would like to invite you
to the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON POW-WOW for the 1996 pow-wow year.
