Pikuni Voice is an alterative publication from Blackfoot Territory.
The Blackfoot Confederacy is reunited again across international
borders from northern Montana to southern Alberta. Preservation of
the headwaters of the continent is the preservation of Blackfoot
culture.
The information we offer, balances news from the corporate and
mainstream culture with grassroots analysis and news. Recent
issues have included articles like: the arrival of christianity
from a stone-age perspective; boarding school education; the
arrival of european government; government oppression; 502 years
after Columbus; Community News. Opinion and commentary is featured
in editorials to foster debate and discussion.
We distribute to each Blackfoot Community; Pikuni [North and
South]; Siksika; Kainai. We welcome your news and information to
bring news of the alternative world to the Blackfoot people. We
also welcome new readers and future supporters.
