I do not know anything about the Earth-Spirit group or their planned walk
but I have known William Commonda for over thirty years. He is a very
respected elder and chief of the Algonquians at Kitigan-Zibi in western
Quebec. Chief Commonda has been an active worker for his people and for
all Native People throughout his life. I'd like to learn more about this
group from anyone who knows anything. I do hope that Chief Commonda and
the other leaders mentioned have not been misled in any way.
