A craft fair to support the 1995 North American Indigenous Games - Team New
York, will be held
at the Oneida Nation Gymnasium. This year's games will be held in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, July
26 - August 6. Over 300 Iroquois men and women from New York will compete.
Crafts include: bead and leatherwork, carvings, bone chokers,
dreamcatchers, pouches,
headdresses, earrings, dolls, keychains, children's and novelty items.
There also will be raffles,
popcorn, fried bread, and baked goods along with Native American grown
strawberries.
A box lacrosse game will follow featuring the Oneida Nation Silverhawks of
the Iroquois Lacrosse
