NativeNet: administrative matters

Greetings.

I'd like to remind everyone that the address to use in case you need to
inquire about anything pertaining to your subscription to any of the lists
is "nnadmin@genetics.washington.edu" DO NOT send messages to the posting
addresses for the lists (e.g. "native-l@gnosys.svle.ma.us" or "@tamvm1...")

If you receive a message saying that your subscription to a NativeNet
list has been cancelled, the probable reason is that messages sent to
you from the lists had been bouncing, indicating that your address was
probably no longer valid. In such a case, please just resubscribe.
Your having been dropped does *not* mean that we disapproved of your
views or didn't want you on the list (so far, in six years of operation,
we've never dropped anyone for such a reason), only that we couldn't
send electronic mail to you.

On another topic, I am about to turn moderation of NATIVE-L and NATCHAT
over to one or more other people. If you need to contact the moderator of
the NATIVE-L list, please use the address "native-l-mod@gnosys.svle.ma.us"

Gary
