I teach American Indian History at San Diego State and have an extensive
library on the Kumeyaay and have published a book and several articles on
them. A good place to start is the Smithsonian Handbook of North American
Indians Vol 8. Let me know if you have any specific interests (crafts,
archaeology, diet, culture, etc,) and I can send you some bibliographic
material. Oh, another good, although dated source is Ruth Almstedt's
Bibliography of the Diegueno (Kumeyaay) Indians.
