info needed on land use

Greetings! My name is Elisabeth and I have been a subscriber to NativeNet
for over a year now. As a non-native, I have been a silent, background
observer whose life has been enriched through the information you share
and the courage with which you accept the struggles of life. The more I
have learned, the more I have wondered about the land where I live which
is in Moscow, Idaho, about half-way between the Coeur d'Alene reservation
to the north and the Nez Perce reservation to the south. I live in a
corner of town adjacent to some rolling Palouse country farm lands in view
of Moscow Mountain. What is now only a seasonal creek runs off the
mountain and through a depression in the hills across my backyard.
I am trying to learn which native tribes might have used this land
traditionally and how it might have been used. If anyone has any
information they would be willing to share with me, I would very much
