As far as scare tactics, who would put them there? If the government is
placing "false" signs...that would be a plus for the Indian community
(would they do this..ie..try to help the community's economic growth?)
Maybe there is someone on the list that has actually had one of the signs
posted on their table who could let us know what the sign is really
about. Otherwise, I know that there is another Pow-Wow coming up in a
couple of weeks(within a month) and I will be on the lookout for these
signs. Come to think of it, it was even posted on the fry bread
concession that I bought bread from.
If what Dave said is correct, that there is no law like this (claiming to
be Indian for selling of merchandise), it will certainly be one of those
things that make me go "Hmmmmm".
