In answer to a request the other day from a young woman up on the NezPerce
Rez in Idaho, I've contacted my "inside connection" to get the lattest
update on who is reliable & who to avoid. I've deleted anyone that is
questionable (to the BEST of our knowledge) and added a caution of not
giving out your credit card number to anyone, and to order C.O.D. to those
known to not ship full orders, and/or take a long time.

Here's that list:

SUPPLIERS LIST 1995; MANY FROM MUZZLE LOADER MAGAZINE

Society of Primative Technology, P.O. Box 3226, Flagstaff, AZ 86003; Dave
Wescott. They offer several week-long "wilderness skills" retreat where
you can learn things like tanning, tracking, edible foods from the wild,
etc. This is NOT a Tom Brown tracking school event; this one is
legitimate. The most widely popular gathering is called "Rabbit Stick
Rondezvous", which is held in Idaho or Montana in September.

**Crazy Crow Trading Post, P.O. Box 314, Denison, TX 75020. 903/ 463-
1366. Got this source from Terry Trip Rompon. Have an ad in Whispering
Winds for a northern traditional bustle kit. Catalog $3 or free with
bustle order. To get a free wholesale catalog, send them a copy of your
business license or BIA enrollment card. (this last requirement might be a
hoax). THEY HAVE AN ***INCREDIBLE*** CATALOG, & DO WHOLESALE, ***BUT***
ONLY ORDER FROM THEM USING C.O.D., BECAUSE THEY OFTEN TAKE **FOREVER** TO
SHIP, & THEN SOMETIMES DON'T SEND A FULL SHIPMENT. IN THE MEANTIME, THEY
HAVE THE USE OF YOUR MONEY FOR FREE, AND ITS ALSO HARD TO GET THEM TO SEND
YOU A REFUND FOR WHATEVER THEY DIDN'T HAVE IN STOCK. (To reduce the chance
of credit card fraud, don't send ANYONE your credit card number!)
