[ I have combined the following two articles into one. I'd like to suggest
that we probably have as much information on this subject as we can use
now, and that there's not much need to continue the discussion. Besides,
the NATIVE-L list is not designed for conversational-mode interchanges.
That's the purpose of the NATCHAT list. I've permitted this dialogue to
go on as long as it has because it seemed as if we have been investigating
an interesting question. I sense that the exchange is about to turn into
talking about how we each feel about the laws, etc., which is clearly the

Thanks for the reply. I agree with you, the best way to buy is directly
from the People, which I do whenever possible. Thanks for the clarification
of the intent of the Act.

Yes, I agree, and thank you for your observations. But, perhaps this
is not the place to get into the Navajo/Hopi dispute, and who respects
the rights of who... But, your point is well taken!
