The killings of two Native Americans and a deputy sheriff at Round Valley
Indian Reservation last April, and the state of siege caused by police
reaction, are the subject of a major group of feature articles in the latest
issue of the Albion Monitor (9/2/95).

The illustrated articles by Nicholas Wilson, Mark Heimann, George Snyder and
Jeff Elliott give the most comprehensive and in-depth treatment yet
published of the killings, reaction, history, and background of the tragic
events.

The Albion Monitor is a new weekly e-paper serving Northern California and
available only on the World Wide Web. It is best viewed with Netscape
Navigator 1.1 or above because it uses advanced page layout using HTML table
formatting. (If you want to be able to print it out and are using a Windows
computer, because of bugs in Navigator 1.1 you will need to download
Netscape Navigator 1.2 beta 6 from Netscape. It's free.)
