The Gros Ventres now use the name White Clay People. George Horse
Capture, former curator of Native American Collections at the Buffalo Bill
Cody Musuem in Cody, Wyoming, is of the White Clay People and has written
several books about the tribe and its history. Another very interesting
study of White Clay People history is Loretta Fowler's _Shared Symbols,
Contested Meanings_.

Best of Luck,

Cathy
