The first Native American Days will be held from 10 am to 5 pm, Sept. 16-17
at Laura Plantation near Vacherie, Louisiana sponsored by members of the
United Chickasaw Nation. The event celebrates Native American culture by
performing ceremonial dances and sharing arts and crafts. Storytelling and
games will also be part of the festival.

Admission is $7.00 for adults and $4.50 for children. Food and drinks also
