Meteorite Question

This is my first post/question so I'll introduce myself a bit first. My name
is Bryan Carbonnell, I am part Mohawk from Kanesatake. I'm not actually from
Kanaesatake, my father is. I was raised in the "white" world by my mother
who is non-native. If anyone reading this is from Canada and notice my
E-mail address is CBC,please, please take note, this is a personal interest,
for lack of a better word, and NOT a professional interest, I am NOT a
journalist.

With all that said and done, my question.

I would like to know what beliefs there are about seeing a meteor ? I am
under the (mis)impression that it signifies a LARGE change in someone's
life, or perhaps the world??

Am I right, wrong or otherwise completely out in left filed??

The reson I am asking this is that towards the end of August this year, I
happened to see the meteor that went overhead in Toronto, Ontario, and ever
since then I haven't been "feeling" quite right. It just capped off a week
of very interseting happenings. I won't get into that now.

I am speciffically looking for Mohawk beliefs, but I am willing to listen to
any and all beliefs, as it is all part of the whole.

Thanks.
