cherokee nation?

Hello I am a college student at bradley university who has discovered
an ancestry in her family which traces back to a cherokee indian
tribe that was placed ina reservation in Florida.
I believe to be a fourth if not half cherokee and I am desperately
seeking peoples to help me seek any information on my lost culture.
If you have any information please help me.
