Oki all, Dr. Norman Fortenberry, Executive Director of the GEM Consortium
sent this job ad and asked me to forward to pertinent lists. This position
has potential much more than what is advertised. The position could be an
international nation to nation liaison. This would include the sovereign
Native American Nations. Thus, the person needs to have STRONG ties to Indian
communities. I believe the salary range is between $30,000 - $32,000
depending on education and experience. There needs to be BOTH a strong
science/engineering/technology background AND business experience. I know
Norman and GEM have a strong committment to Indian communities and the
opportunities for growth with GEM are very good.
