I strongly recommend the video, "Broken Rainbow". It is a
documentary, done in the 70's, about the Navajo-Hopi relocation act, and how
coal companies, politicians, and capitalizing speculators turned one tribe
against the other. It also talks about the forced relocation of both Navajos
and Hopis. Note: This stuff still happens even in this day and age of
political correctness and so-called sympathizing with oppressed minorities.
You might also want to read the postings titled, "BIG MOUNTAIN UPDATE"
in this usenet. This is posted by the Dineh Alliance, relocation resistors
among the Navajos.
