The Apachee were not placed in Florida. Some of the Apachee leaders were
held in some forts in Florida, but no reservations were setup for other
tribes in Florida. The only reservations in Florida were for the Seminoles
and Miccosukee. Only recently have some Creek bands emerged.

I too have never heard of any Cherokee groups being placed in Florida and
would be interested in the first persons evidence for this.
