On Monday the 16th of Oct. the three Hereditary Chiefs and a supporter were
brought from jail to appear in court. The judge set a new court date of
December 4 for the trial. Apparently the judge was not very interested in
hearing speeches from the Chiefs as he asked them to hurry. As Hereditary
Chief Edward Moody was addressing the court, he walked toward the crowd and
the guards grabbed him and the others and dragged them back to jail.
The wife of Hereditary Chief and elder Lawrence Pootlass passed away
yesterday morning. Due to this, he signed himself out of jail leeving two
hereditary chiefs and one supporter awaiting their trial on 4th Dec.
On Monday the 16th there were rallies all over the U.S. and Canada. Support

traveling to Europe to spread the word. Another is headed around the west
coast of the U.S. as well. If you would like more information or can help
